Degree in Mechanical Engineering

The Mechanical Engineering Course at UFRJ-Macaé aims to contribute to the local development of the city of Macaé and its surroundings. Dialogue with large and small productive activities that deal with areas of interest in mechanical engineering: thermal systems, machines, fluids, designs of metallic structures and materials.

The course aims to train engineers, aware of their role as agents of city construction, and others in research and extension actions. In its current framework, the course has potential in the discussion of energy, especially alternative energy sources.

Whether developing systems or mechanical devices, the mechanical engineer will be present in some part of their creation. With technological innovations in recent years, efforts for alternative sources and energy optimization have become a major scientific challenge.
